RSVP Renovation Update

RSVP Renovation Update

January 28, 2013
Interior Demo

It’s been a month since we’ve posted any updates on the RSVP Event Center remodeling project and there has been quite a bit of work done throughout the building.  The existing floors and furniture have been removed, making way for new to come in.  The walls have been painted a muted grayish brown color and each piece of each chandelier has been hand cleaned with extreme care.   As you can see, the front entry (which we apologize is a bit blurry) has been stripped of all furniture and carpet.  It’s quite a different picture from the first posted last month at the beginning of this blog.

The new carpet, being installed at this moment, is a commercial carpet tile, perfect for high traffic areas, such as an event center of this size.  The patterns used, Cool Rain and Earthen Weave from Patcraft’s (A division of Shaw Carpet) New Ground Collection, offers a mixture of linear and swirled patterns, or what Patcraft describes as “to bring balance to the healing environment.  Awash with performance, rippling with renewal.”

Once the center is complete, we will begin work in the office area for staff and management.  It has been a pleasure working with everyone at RSVP and we can also vouch that their food is FABULOUS!  They have been very gracious hosts to everyone working around the clock to make their event center an upscale place to hold a grand party.  Our next post will be a more updated view of the project’s progress.
