We are excited to offer Rubio Monocoat, an amazing hardwood finish product, to customers and contractors as we have become a distributor for Rubio Monocoat in the Midwest. Rubio Monocoat is an innovative floor finish that is environmentally friendly and safe: Rubio is plant based, contains no VOCs or water. Rubio Monocoat adheres with the first microns of the wood by molecular bonding, forming no film or saturation. The molecular bonding with the wood fibers creates a durable, long lasting protection. This revolutionary technology makes for easy touch up, no overlapping, coloring and protection in one layer, durable protection and easy repairs. Respecting the natural look and feel of wood, Monocoat allows for a natural floor finish.
There are many unique colors and other unique products from Rubio's "Creative Effects," offering the ability to create contrasting effects with the "Precolor" treatments; smoked aspects to Oak wood using the "Smoke" treatment, or creating special "greying" effects using the "Fumed" on Oak and Ash.
